Since its inception in the summer of 1999, AWE's Truck Studio program has been delivering free afternoon art programs in Milwaukee's neighborhood parks. Under shady trees at park picnic tables, professional artists and art educators as well as student interns and community volunteers help children create puppets, wind socks, prints, musical instruments, sculptures,wearable art, plaster masks, jewelry, and various other projects.
