Join us for this two part series exploring neon/glow media during these special Makers Space nights at AWE. Come turn up the fun in our studios where AWE provides the space to learn and experiment.

The Medium:

Participants will be experimenting specifically with blacklight (UV) reactive materials and fluorescent palettes. This is a great opportunity to master how these materials interact under different lighting conditions—a technique that is highly engaging for students of all ages.

The Goal:

The work created during these sessions is intended for a collective exhibition at AWE this fall.

Professional Development:

This is a perfect way for teaching artists to experiment in a "low-stakes" environment, allowing you to explore at your own pace and learn the logistics of working with neon/glow media before introducing it to your own toolbox.
