Out in Community

Truck Studio

What we do: Free make-and-take projects from painting & drawing to sculpture, digital art, fashion and so much more!

Artist-in-Residence

What we do: Collaboratively designed murals, mosaics, public art, sculpture and more made by and for your community!

Creative Services

What we do: Art experiences tailored to your organization or event that ensure a cohesive theme to engage and entertain all!

In the studio

middle school art club

Ages 11-14

What we do: This program is for middle school students interested in art. The program offers opportunities to develop artistic ability and exploration alongside professional artists, and to discover Milwaukee’s art community.

Rising Artist Council

Ages 14-18

What we do: The program is offered to high school students interested in art. This program offers opportunities to build and develop your artistic ability, alongside professional artists, and to discover Milwaukee's art community.

All ages workshops

What we do: These quarterly workshops will foster creativity, connection, and learning across generations while strengthening community ties through the arts. Family-friendly and open to all ages these workshops were developed based on community feedback.

For Teaching Artists

Art Teacher Art Club

What we do: Art teachers, this one’s just for you! Join us monthly for the Art Teacher Art Club—a space to experiment with materials, meet local creators, swap classroom ideas, and connect with a supportive community of fellow creatives.

Paint it Forward

What we do: AWE's new Paint it Forward (PiF) initiative is a monthly artist talk and discussion series both in person as well as live-streamed with TankThink and MKE<->LAX at Washington Park Media Center.
