Join us as our RAC will showcase collaborative works with La Familia De Arte!
La Familia de Arte is a grassroots organization dedicated to creating meaningful change in the Milwaukee area through collaborative, community-based projects, and public artwork for all.
Much like AWE, La Familia De Arte feels everyone deserves to have access to beautiful art that delights and inspires them, and the ability to create and enjoy it in their own backyard. ‘A community is at its best when its inhabitants can come together, in creation, collaboration, and in celebration.’
AWE's new Paint it Forward (PiF) initiative is a monthly artist talk and discussion series both in person as well as live-streamed with TankThink and MKE<->LAX at Washington Park Media Center.

The series is an opportunity for local emerging artists and creatives to hear from established local artists and creatives about the whys and whats of their professional practice as well as how they grew their practices.
Artist talk and discussion will be one hour of a two hour session, with additional time following the discussion for networking among artists and creatives and an opportunity to co-create a group art project at AWE's studio.
Paint it forward is brought to you in collaboration with AWE & Washington Park Media Center, and made possible by the City of Milwaukee Arts Board, for the betterment of our own Milwaukee community!
